Croeso I Fangor!! (Welcome to Bangor)

Im back in Bangor! Put everything together Wednesday morning and was told by Dad that it wouldn’t fit in the roller-skate (Fiat Panda :P) and we would have to take the van. Oops 😛 Although, I guessed as much when Dad sat at the car shaped pile in the living room and started pretending to drive 😛 Packed everything in the back of the van and set off for North Wales. The journey was OK, except the wind! Oh my goodness!! I thought we would get blown over! Not fun. Plus, Mum elbowing me every time she saw a yellow vehicle didn’t go down well 😛 Regardless, we arrived in Bangor about 2pm. Then the ‘fun’ bit…moving Aaron’s things out of my room, and my things out of his room! Everything got stored and moved during the redecoration process over Summer. I think we have sorted everything out now though 🙂 After moving that lot, we went for some lunch at the Penguin Cafe…yummy 🙂 Homemade cottage pie 🙂

After lunch, and had to empty the van. There was a comment of, ‘if you left this much here, what have we brought today?!’. Again, oops 😛 I guess it didn’t take too long…cleaning and reorganising took longer! But soon, I at least had a room with all my stuff in it. One problem though – no wardrobe!! Not good!!  Where do I hang up my clothes? Mum to the rescue as usual. She hung the most important things off my curtain rail. Everything had to go in drawers for now. Good job I have plenty of those really 😛 Hehe.

Mum and Dad went about 6ish I think, and left me to sort myself out! Slowly over the past couple of days I have got myself organised to a point where I can live. I have my books out (novels not course books :P), a sewing corner, clothes put away, a dressing table, a jewellery table and photos up on my shoe cupboard! Yes, I have a cupboard for shoes 😛 It’s amazing! Haha simple pleasures. It is the best storage system I’ve ever had for my shoes though to be honest…maybe it works ‘cos I haven’t brought that many pairs back with me!

After my initial reservations about the new house, and despite still being scared of the gas cooker, I am beginning to settle in. I love being surrounded by photos, bright colours, my sewing things and my beanies. Give it a couple of weeks, and I might even refer to it as ‘home’ 😛 Don’t quote me on that though! I have been pretty busy though…meeting to sort out Latin and Ballroom teaching yesterday. No, I don’t know the first thing about either, yes I’m teaching it with someone else with almost equally appalling credentials 😛 It’ll be fine…there’s always Strictly on Youtube 😛

Lastly, I even went Cheerleading today! I went along with Kate, as she was going for What Kate Did, initially I was just going to take photos, but that didn’t really work, so I joined in instead! It was good fun, but I don’t think I shall be joining full time 😛 I’m not loud enough 😛 (Sorry to all cheerleaders out there!!) Tomorrow, Kate and I are going to Conwy Castle. Should be good fun, and gives me a chance to try out my new camera!!! It’s really posh 😛 I don’t know what half the things do, but I’m getting there 🙂 It might take a while for me to get used to it though….so I apologise for any rubbish pictures in the near future!!
